When do you recommend not building an MVP and pivoting instead?
When demand signals are weak or customer acquisition costs clearly outpace the lifetime value in the validation phase. I use strict kill criteria: if we can't get defined commitments or strong signals of intent from the target group with a mock or narrative, we don't build.
